I have been looking at videos that have successfully and unsuccessfully been incorporated into art objects. Pipilotti Rist (retrospective seen at the Hayward Gallery in 2011) has experimented in a way that engages the viewer to playfully interact to experience the work. I want to see how people engage with an overtly bodily object to view an organic and ambivalently sexual film.

Seeing                          work as part of the exhibition at Zabludowicz recently, showing his film as part of an installation in which we are not encouraged to enter, but to observe.

 

Whereas at                                                exhibition, wants you to engage with one film in virtual reality, so that on looking down, you have become the sexual protagonist.
