Sustainable Future Planning

Liz Morison

I have my own large STUDIO and am in the fortunate position that I am financially secure. I want to continue to practice as an artist and to exhibit. I know that my work is improved by the opportunity to critique and discuss in a group. I am part of a critique group ARTMEET, six Hereford College of Arts BA students, one finished her MA at the RCA last year, one is doing her MA in Cheltenham and another is due to start at Wimbledon doing MA drawing this September. We meet about every 6 weeks and have exhibited together.

I am one of a collaborative duo with Lorraine Devine, as DEVINEMORISON we have plans for a number of joint projects.

The curator from Freespace Gallery at Kentish Town Health Centre, Mel Hardwick and I have discussed plans for joint projects in HEALTH CENTRES.

As an alumnus of Hereford College of Arts I pay a small fee to use the college facilities, library, shop and WORKSHOPS and importantly technical advice and support.

Organising the RODD RESIDENCY will maintain links with Wimbledon and the MFA course.

A number of my peers on the course have asked me to take part in EXHIBITIONS and I intend to maintain links with colleagues on the course, and from the first year and alumni from last year.

I am already part of LOCAL NETWORKS where I live, The Hereford Creatives and Worcester groups, Pitt Projects and Eastside Projects in Birmingham and Meadow Arts.

I am currently researching a space to have a SOLO EXHIBITION to provide an immersive experience of my work.
